On Monday the 7 of March, Alex Andersen had the pleasure of being visited by the ministor of transport, Trine Bramsen and the CEO of Danish Industry, Karsten Lauritzen.

At Alex Andersen, Ølund A / S, we would like to show our new students. The students have been equipped with "Elite Driver Class" blouses, so they are top-tuned and ready to begin their course at AA.

The transport company Alex Andersen Ølund, based south of Odense is the Nordic region's largest carrier of flowers, is in the process of making parts of its fleet of 200 trucks more climate-friendly.

On Friday 23 April, Alex Andersen we got to celebrate 11 educated students, we wish a big congratulations on the education.

From the 1st of March, we have bought an ownership part of 80% of the transport company Lars R. Jacobsen Transport A/S. That means 5 new colleagues in the office and 15 new drivers.

Anton Dyremose has been named Transport trainee of the year 2020. Anton has been nominated by both Syddansk Erhvervsskole and Alex Andersen for the prestigious prize, which is awarded by ATL.

Alex Andersen has joined forces with ITD - Industry organization for the Danish road freight transport and 18 other ITD members on the campaign "Stay away from the right front tire of the truck". The campaign is part of ITD's national road safety campaign "Lastbilkaravanen".

At the beginning of 2021, a new construction of a new terminal in Aalsmeer, the Netherlands, began. The terminal will be 10,000 m2 and is expected to be completed in the spring of 2022, before the start of the season.

It is important for us at Alex Andersen to secure the future. Therefore, an additional 30,000 m2 land has been purchased, on the other side of terminal 3, at the head office.

We at Alex Andersen want our drivers to be properly dressed for the tasks they may encounter on their trip around both Denmark and abroad. That is why we have established Alex Andersen Driver Certification in collaboration with AMU Fyn.

At Alex Andersen, we want to be at the forefront when it comes to taking care of our climate. That is why we have chosen to invest in 8 new gas powered trucks for our fleet, at the same time as a new biogas station will be built at our head office on Logistikvej together with our partner Bigadan.
