Alex Andersen GmbH is currently hiring 2-person driver teams for international transport of temperature-sensitive goods, primarily flowers. As a team, you will be responsible for cross-border deliveries across Europe, ensuring high standards of safety, punctuality, and customer service.

Alex Andersen GmbH is part of the Alex Andersen Group, headquartered in Odense, Denmark.
The group operates across Northern Europe and employs approximately 700 people, including 450 drivers. Our fleet includes around 300 trucks and 80 subcontractor vehicles. Alex Andersen GmbH is our German branch, supporting international logistics and transport operations.
Your Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading goods securely
- Handling flower containers manually – physical work is required
- Ensuring proper securing of cargo during transport
- Performing safety checks before and after each trip
- Following delivery schedules and deadlines
- Reporting any damages or irregularities
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service
- Handling temperature-sensitive goods
Your Profile
We are looking for drivers who are reliable, self-motivated, and thrive in a dynamic international environment.
- Valid category C/E driving license
- EU driver qualification card
- Experience in international transport is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Basic mechanical understanding is a plus
- Basic English language skills (both drivers in 2-man teams must be able to communicate)
- Willingness to drive 25-meter trucks when required
- Open to flexible working hours, primarily night shifts
Working Conditions
- International routes from Odense to destinations such as Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, and France
- No fixed truck initially – trucks are assigned monthly; permanent trucks may be offered with seniority
- 2-man operated trucks
- Drivers work together but must be open to occasional solo assignments for light routes
- High season in spring: vacation is limited during this period
- Residence location is not a limiting factor
- Immediate start possible
Employment Terms
- You will be employed under German labor law, which includes paid holidays, full social security coverage, such as health insurance, pension contributions, and unemployment insurance.
- Employment contracts and payroll are handled in accordance with German regulations.
Training and Onboarding
You will receive thorough onboarding and training in all aspects of the job, including route planning, documentation, and use of our internal systems.
Although 2-man training in the same truck is not possible due to seating limitations, you will have access to a mentor you can call during night shifts for support.
