On Monday the 7 of March, Alex Andersen had the pleasure of being visited by the ministor of transport, Trine Bramsen and the CEO of Danish Industry, Karsten Lauritzen.
During the visit, they were shown around our domicile in Odense, where vi had set up four different vehicle combinations, so they could see some of the versatility, that we at Alex Andersen are very proud of.
We showed a truck with a trailer, a gas truck, a 25 meter and a 34 meter to them, and had a nice talk about the pros and cons regardring the different combinations. Among other thing we discussed the future persepcetives that are in the 34 meter combination, which is not yet legal to drive on Danish roads.
It's a combination that only requries a little more fuel, but at the same time, it is possible to load a significant amount more, compared to the 25 meter, which is the longest that can be driven at the moment.
We also had a good talk about the gas trucks, which is one of our many attempts to make Alex Andersen as green a company as possible. Therefore, it was also obvious to take a look at our newly built gas filling station, which makes it easy and convenient for our drivers to refuel before driving out on the Danish roads.
