In Alex Andersen Ølund A/S we can offer our customers an overall solution in which we manage all the logistical aspects in connection with the transports. This means that we manage the packaging, the packing balance, and take care of the entire process from consignor to recipient. 

In practice this means that a customer who wants to buy flowers from Holland and from Denmark only needs to contact one haulage contractor who can handle both the transport and the packaging. Besides the flower exporters Alex Andersen is the only company who undertakes packaging activities.

We have bought an IT-system which gives us improved managing- and analysis tools. This also makes it possible for the exporters to place a direct order in our planning system. Our sub-managers will in this way always be updated about the orders given. When the planning of the transport has been made, the system will send the final route and other details to the lorry where the driver can see them on a screen. With our track and trace-system it is possible to follow the lorry on its route and to communicate with the driver on his way through Europe.
